Lee Rainwater - Construction Expert Witness

Lee has combined his 40 years of construction knowledge and experience in insurance repair and in the use of various estimating systems for insurance repair, new construction and sitework. He has seen thousands of losses of different types including fire, wind, water, hail and hurricanes. He has seen losses caused by structural defaults and sometimes the incompetence of builders. He has experience in both fee paid estimates and appraisals from arbitrations of inurance building losses.

Lee has mingled his interest in computer systems and construction and has used Xactimate™ in all of its forms from the DOS versions up through the present day versions. He has drawn hundreds of sketches of all types. Most of his experience has been in residential: single family, multifamily and high rise structures.

Early in his career he did systems design and programming in COBOL ™, Fortran™, and Assembler Language™

Lee currently serves on the Board of Zoning Appeals for the City of Roswell, Georgia for the past seven years.
