Foundations and Concrete Slabs

When foundations and concrete slabs are constructed with defects it compromises the integrity of the rest of the structure.  Improper design and construction could lead to the intrusion of water, radon or other gases and unsafe elements.  Here are issues we see associated with foundations and concrete slabs:

Inadequate design of foundation
Moisture seepage through slabs
Poor embedment of foundation
Damage from moisture on interior flooring
Failure to correctly grout post tension cables
Failure to adhere a corrosive resistant coating to post tension anchors
Failure to provide concrete resistant to attack by other chemicals in soils, such as alkali & chlorides
